Our Mission:

To be Present…Influence begins with relationship. So, Affirmed Prayer Mentors must be active in students’ lives to exemplify and model the power of God. We want them to be there for the milestones, for the spiritual experiences at church, and for the difficult times.

To Proclaim…We are called to PROCLAIM the promises of God over our girls and their identity in Christ, to show them WHO GOD says that they are. Our daughters are called to accomplish GREAT things for the Kingdom. And Affirmed Prayer Mentors can speak life into our students and stir up gifts and confidence that God has placed within them.

To Pray…Affirmed Prayer Mentors must PRAY. Another definition that inspired Affirmed reads like this: “to offer emotional support or encouragement.” But the definition goes deeper. Webster fleshes this out to say “to give a HEIGHTENED sense of value!” So, along with being present, proclaiming God’s plan over our students lives, our Affirmed prayer mentors are CALLED to PRAY and intercede to support our girls and to show them they are VALUED and that they, and we as a Church, BELIEVE in them!
